Biography:

Kym is fascinated by the connection between art and the body. Her work ranges from performing theater to creating sculpture from beads – and she has performed and exhibited nationally and internationally.

 
She has designed costumes, puppets, masks and a full size theater curtain made of sleepwear. She received "best in show" in "The Beaded Figure IV" which opened at the Museum of Art and Design in New York.
Her beadwork has been exhibited in regional, national and international exhibits including “Alchemy • Amulets • Altars” at the Phipps and “The Audacious Bead” at the Bead Museum in Washington D.C. In 2007 her beadwork toured Japan and was exhibited in the Hakone’s prestigious open-air museum.
